Sarasota Memorial Day Parade

This FREE annual event will kick off from downtown Sarasota at the crossroads of Main Street and Orange Avenue at 10:00am on Memorial Day. Join the community at J.D. Hamel Park for a ceremony following the conclusion of the parade.

Remembering our Fallen

From Friday, May 22, to Monday, May 25, there will be a photographic war memorial on display at Donald L. Courtney Monument Park in Bradenton. You can visit the memorial from 12-6pm each day. This memorial display is free and available to the public.

This memorial day weekend is event is packed with family fun! On Saturday, May 23rd, enjoy custom cars, trucks, bikes, and slingshots, along with live music, food trucks, and family activities. You can attend this event from 12-5pm at Manatee Technical College.

Saturday evening (May 23rd), you can join the Venice Symphony to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with dazzling symphonic favorites, thrilling flyovers, and inspiring music honoring the heroes of the Revolution and the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This event starts at 7:30pm; don't forget your tickets!

If you planned ahead and rented a boat this weekend, hop out on the water and celebrate in the sun at AquaPalooza! Sunday, May 24th, from 10am-4pm, drop your anchor at New Pass Sandbar for free live music and good American vibes.

Memorial Day Concert

On Memorial Day, join the Sarasota Concert Band at Phillippi Estate Park for an evening of music by the water starting at 5pm. This is a free event, all you need is the beach chairs from our property!
