NEW! heated, saltwater pool, bikes, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella! Loads of amenities-travel soaps and shampoos, coffee & tea bar, dishwasher & laundry pods, paper products, so much more! The entire property with the very large historic home with 5 beds/3 full baths, the screened deck with pool, the front porch and front yard, spacious side driveway easy to park 4 cars, a portion of garage for the bikes, beach equipment and grill we provide. We are committed to helping our guests make forever memories at the Riverhouse Retreat! We are available anytime (2 blocks down the street) but we respect the privacy of our guests. Most guests will prefer a contactless check in but we are always available for questions via the Airbnb platform & easy to reach as we live down the street. Should you need recommendations or have questions just message us on Airbnb. Please allow pool and trash service to do their jobs-they will not enter the house. Just place bagged trash in green bins just outside driveway kitchen door and the trash will be taken care of for you. Ours is a historic close knit neighborhood. The owners of the Riverhouse Retreat live in another historic home down the street and are committed to insuring that our neighbors and guests alike are looked after. Please respect noise ordinance by observing quiet hours between 10pm and 9am. Please do not disturb neighbors. Bike & walk in downtown. To beach access MCAT public transportation, car rental, uber-all accessible from our downtown location. Fully equipped kitchen, two w/d sets up and down. 3rd bathroom off kitchen and pool-perfect for those sandy items. We provide bikes for our guests since the entire downtown can be explored on foot or by bike. TV in great room, and 3 bedrooms. Kids DVDs and many great books, coloring books and family games. Please note we do not offer refunds of any kind for any reason if it’s outside of the cancellation policy in place. Airbnb offer trip insurance for each reservation.

It was so helpful to have many of the things that we needed during our stay. we were within close proximity to various restaurants, so we enjoyed the beautiful riverfront on our walks. Hosts were very helpful with any questions. We enjoyed the front porch and the heated pool was great!

There are so many extra touches from the containers to store leftovers in to the laundry detergent to the spray starch for the iron. I could go on. Randy is a very responsive host and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay here!

September 2024 5.00This was a great place to stay. The home was immaculately maintained and had many more amenities than we expected. It had a washer and dryer on the first and second floors and lots of beach items for use in the garage. The pool was well-maintained and everything was neat and orderly. I highly recommend this property to others and have already posted on my page.

August 2024 4.00The house was big and spacious. They had everything you can possibly think of at the house. Nice spacious rooms. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities because of storm Debby but we made the best of it. The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because the main floor was extremely warm and never went below 76 degrees even with the thermostat being set to 70. Randy was informed and said he was aware and is looking to replace the unit soon. With that being said we were unable to use the first floor as much as we wanted because of how warm it felt. At time the couches felt very damp. I Will definitely give this place another chance after the AC issue has been fixed.

June 2024 5.00We love this place. It's the perfect location for us near the Riverwalk. Lots of things for kids to do. Love the 2 master bed/baths. All the rooms are comfortable. This has been our 3rd visit to this home. The kitchen is great for cooking large meals for our family. We all look forward to this time.
